I am so slow at replying, sorry, but yeah, I keep hoping the industry will shift away from debuting young, but it's unfortunately almost inevitable given how the industry currently works. :/ There will probably always be children working in entertainment, but at the very least it would be nice to see more legal protections for them than what exists now (both in Korea and the US, I don't know enough to speak for anywhere else)
